Since 1994 the University of Hamburg has been offering a study program on European integration in cooperation with the Europa-Kolleg. The interdisciplinary Master's programme 'European and European Legal Studies' offers graduates of a first degree the opportunity to understand the process of European integration in its legal, political and economic dimensions.
The one-year Master's programme is run by the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences of the University of Hamburg in cooperation with the Institute for European Integration of the Europa-Kolleg Hamburg Foundation.

Legal, economic and political science aspects of European integration
Schedule
At the beginning of their studies, all students are taught the essential legal, economic and political aspects of European integration in the three modules of the basic course.
In the subsequent consolidation phase, students have the opportunity to study intensively in one of the two areas of their choice. Each specialisation is made up of five modules. The range of compulsory modules can vary from year to year depending on the students' interests.
The language of instruction is English.
